Therapy is intended to help people manage emotional and psychological challenges, often by making sense of the past and healing trauma. Coaching sets goals, builds strategies, and drives action toward the future. Confidant work exists alongside therapy and coaching as a distinct container for moments that call for a quieter, less formal process.. There is no diagnosis or pathology, no program, and no step-by-step plan.
Both therapy and coaching absolutely have their place, and confidant work is not intended to, nor could it, replace them.
Both. Single sessions outside of a retainer: phone or Zoom. Monthly retainers: phone or Zoom, with in-person sessions available in Chicago or by arrangement elsewhere for an additional fee. Personalized access: begins with an in-person launch day; can include additional in-person sessions, as requested. All sessions can be conducted by phone or Zoom if preferred.
Monthly retainer: $2,500. Optional additional sessions for retainer clients: $200. Personalized 6-month access begins at $30,000, tailored to client preferences.
My role is to listen and reflect patterns with precise language so your own truth is unmistakable. I share my perspective sometimes, but I will not choose for you or tell you what to do.
Come as honest as you can. If helpful, bring a single page that names the pressure line and the stakes. Whenever possible, connect from a quiet space free from disruption.
Those on a monthly retainer or with long-term personalized access always have the option of reaching out by voice or text between sessions. I respond to messages as quickly as possible, typically within a few hours.
For clients with ongoing personalized access, daily check-in routines are often arranged. This usually includes brief morning or evening calls or texts to ground and close out the day.
To honor your time and mine, I request 48 hours notice of cancellation. Monthly retainers and personalized access include ongoing flexible rescheduling.
